Junior Designer – Bell IT Solutions

Part of my role in the business as a Designer was to assist and undertake Graphic Design, Web Design and Creative Writing (including Copy, Blogs, eNewsletters and Press Releases). My role required me to produce high quality design work, which tackled briefs using an effective and unique approach. It also required good time management skills in order to multi-task and complete various projects within their set deadlines, both independently and within a team.

Design Assistant – Desktop Enterprises

Jul 2013 – Aug 2013 | Thornbury, England

During a work placement at Desktop Enterprises I was required to design a website for a Rock Music School. After meeting with the client I was able to understand the values of the company, who they wanted to target and what they wanted to achieve from the website. The website needed to reflect their professionalism and passion for Rock Music, therefore I created various designs and concepts which were presented to the client for review.

Concept Participant – Concept 2013

Apr 2013 | Newport, South Wales

Over a three day period I participated in a creative advertising workshop to work on a live brief for Cineworld. We were required to work in a team to create a new concept that advertised Cineworld’s enticing cinema experience to its audience. The final day required us to pitch our final concept to industry creative and professionals.

Picker (Warehouse Staff) –Arthur David: Food with Service

Jun 2012 – Sep 2012 | Bristol, England

As a Picker I was required to work both independently and within a team to ensure all food was of the highest quality and packed correctly before being delivered to a large number of clients. Working in a fast paced environment developed my time management skills and gave me the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Telesales & Customer Care – Arthur David: Food with Service

My role as a Telesales and Customer Care consultant required me to work with bespoke content management systems, have excellent customer service skills whilst maintaining high company standards expected by both the company and their customers. To ensure all customer queries were answered and dealt with promptly to the satisfaction of both the customer and the company.
